Core On Dynamics

We build on-device AI stacks for industrial robots. When the network drops on the factory floor, when cloud APIs lag, the robots must keep working.

Core On Dynamics Inc. is based in San Jose, CA, founded by Paul Yu (Hyung Cik Yu).

What We Build

A fast vision-language-action policy (CoreVLA, System 1) and a slower domain LLM (CoreLM, System 2) running together on NVIDIA Jetson Thor-class edge hardware (CoreEdge).

Every action command passes through a Rust-based deterministic safety layer (CoreOS). The model proposes. The architecture validates. The system grants execution.

Why the Edge

Cloud AI has solved many problems, but factories are different. Response, connection reliability, data sovereignty, and operating cost make on-device execution mandatory.

System 1 and System 2 must run on the same device. System 1 acts. System 2 enriches context. The safety layer performs final validation. This loop must complete without a cloud round-trip.

Data Flywheel

The real asset isn't a one-off model—it's the data flywheel that continuously improves it. Only when customers explicitly consent, anonymized fleet data improves the base model.

Task-specific data and fine-tuning adapters for one customer are never shared with another. Each customer's domain knowledge remains isolated.
